Trainer Nick Williams described Moonlighter as a “pretty scary ride” after his February win at Sandown but if he has a clear round here he should be firmly involved at the finish. He has jumped left on a few occasions, so there is reason to believe he should be better suited going this way round and he is talented on his day. Moonlighter finished a neck second to Greaneteen in the Haldon Gold Cup earlier this season and ticks plenty of boxes.
