A punting puzzle but it might be worth taking a chance on the Paul Nichollstrained Houx Gris. Nicholls has landed this prize three times since its inauguration in 2005 and Houx Gris shaped nicely when third in the rescheduled Grade 1 juvenile hurdle at Chepstow in January. He travelled sweetly for a long way before a mistake at the second-last ended his chances. A mark of 128 could well be lenient and he should have a nice weight in this contest.
