Bull to lead the Monmore charge

BULL RUN NORRIS saw his unbeaten record for Kevin Hutton ended by a shock reverse at the hands of Massive Ego last week but he should regain the winning thread in Monmore’s 8.23 over 480m (live on SIS), writes Jonathan Kay.

He had won heat and final of a maiden competition here and looked set for more silverware after heat victory in a marginally stronger event before coming up slightly short in the decider but it is worth noting that he actually recorded his fastest time on that occasion although having to settle for second.

Carol Grasso has found All About Taylor a good chance in the 480m finale at 9.18, while Mark Wallis’ Fatboyz Exile can end a run of five without a victory in the 9.02 over 630m.

The Monmore action starts with three heats of the Ladbrokes.com 480 Puppy with the suggestions being Arran Dunn’s Flyhigh Trapeze (6.17), Jamie Kingsley’s March On Ted (6.33) and Paul Sallis’

Tashade (6.48), while heats of a 264m sprint are best left to Mark Wallis’ Call Me Tom (7.07) and Kevin Hutton’s

Signet Mafia (7.24).

Two divisions of a 630m maiden can go to Pat Cowdrill’s Rathmeehan Stud (8.03) and Chris Fereday’s

Kilcooney Limit (8.43).
