Fire looks a hot TV pick

FIRE SPARK landed a first win in ten when dropped to A2 last time and that victory could act as a real confidence-booster when Dave Lee’s dog returns to top grade over 380m at Crayford (12.24).

He looks to have a good make-up drawn outside Sweetsantreats and one of the sub-3.60sec sectionals he regularly produces could soon see him in control.

Earlier, OSCARS PANTHER can open his 540m account at the eighth time of asking by making the most of a drop to S4 grade at 11.24.

He has yet to get to the front over the trip which is a surprise but has a great chance to dominate this field and then prove hard to catch.

Romford has three semis of the RPGTV 10th Birthday Kennel Sweepstakes over 400m with Maxine Locke’s BONVILLE HUGH fancied to ping and make all in the second at 12.46.

Other semi-final suggestions are Paul Young’s Roll On Bucko (12.31) and Nathan Hunt’s Kilscannell King (1.02). JONATHAN KAY
