Vadream the pick of the bunch for Moore

David Milnes

RYAN MOORE looks to have a good book of rides at Lingfield on Saturday including Vadream, who goes in the Listed BetUK Kachy Stakes.

Charlie Fellowes’ classy five-year-old mare scored on her only previous outing on the allweather at Newcastle in 2020 and comes here fit from some smart work on the Al Bahathri Polytrack.

A winner at Group 3 level in 2021, Vadream posted some smart efforts in defeat last season including a close sixth to Kinross in the Group 1 British Champions Sprint at Ascot in October.

Earlier on, stablemate Hello Zabeel can register back-to-back wins for the yard in the BetUK Over 40,000 Live Streamed Races Handicap.

The son of Frankel was picked up for 18,000gns out of the Kevin Ryan yard last August and scored on his third outing for his new stable at Southwell in October.

Dropped to this weekend’s trip of six furlongs that day, Hello Zabeel is another who has worked well on the Al Bahathri of late.

William Buick jets in from Dubai to take rides at Kempton on Saturday night including Spring Promise for Charlie Appleby in the Try Our New Price Boosts At Unibet Fillies’ Novice Stakes.

The daughter of Lope De Vega posted an eyecatching debut when chasing home stablemate Star Guest over this trip of a mile at Lingfield last month.

Given the way she finished that day, Spring Promise can be expected to be suited by this stiffer track.

At Kempton on Wednesday, the Alice Haynes-trained Insolente has a good chance in the Unibet Supports Safe Gambling Handicap.

She has yet to win a race but has been running well of late and wasn’t disgraced when fourth behind Acai at Southwell last time out in a first-time visor.

The visor is retained here and if it works as well again she has a chance to get off the mark at last.
