I NEVER like being beaten but Edwardstone didn’t do a lot wrong at Cheltenham last weekend and I must admit that when he got to the leader on the run-in and then went a neck up I expected him to go on and win the race.

You have to give credit to Editeur Du Gite for the way he fought back. However, Edwardstone had to come from some way off the pace to reach the winner and maybe that took a little bit out of him.
