Allmankind looks good in Peterborough LAST WEEK

SUNDAY’S Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon can go to Dan Skelton’s Allmankind, who looks sure to be suited by the track.

His game win in the Old Roan Chase took his record on easy tracks for his current yard to 11111 and his forcing style will suit.

Sorbet won at Fakenham last time despite racing in the ‘swamp’ on the inside rail and can follow up in Huntingdon’s Fitzdares Loves Nick Luck Daily Handicap Hurdle.

It’s rare for Sue Smith horses to win after a layoff, especially early in the season, but Romeo Brown did so at Hexham last month.

He’s been shoved up 14lb to a mark of 114 but scored off a 3lb higher mark for Phil Kirby in March 2019 and might still have more to offer. Jane Williams is a rare visitor to Chepstow but her track runners have acquitted themselves well, with form figures this century of 37102 (1-5).

Selections

Saturday Chepstow 2.12 Romeo Brown. Sunday Huntingdon 1.52 Allmankind; 2.27 Sorbet.
