If Blue Point heads for the King’s Stand, this would look like one of the most wide-open Group 1s of the week. Invincible Army has to be respected after his dazzling win at York yet he was a little disappointing in the Commonwealth Cup last year and has to prove himself at Group 1 level. Foreign raiders have a good record in this race, as do five-year-olds which bodes well for last year’s second and third City Light and Bound For Nowhere.
