Last year’s winner Crystal Ocean will be tough to beat if this is his target, but such is his ability connections should have a Group 1 in mind and Sir Michael Stoute has a strong alternative in Mirage Dancer. Having kept on for fifth in last year’s 1m2f Wolferton, he appreciated the step up to 1m4f when a comfortable Group 3 winner at Goodwood in August and is the type to progress further this term. Coronet has the form to have a big say.
