At her peak last season I Can Fly ran Roaring Lion to a neck in the QEII Stakes and, while she hasn’t picked up where she left off, a slight ease in grade might be exactly what’s needed to get her rolling again. Over Irish Guineas weekend she ran second in the Lanwades Stud Stakes and very little went right. She missed the break, got caught in behind horses and missed a beat as the winner, Beshaayir, got first run on her.
