I suspect the Irish 2,000 Guineas came too soon after the Dante for Too Darn Hot and I expect a much better run here. He was exceptional as a juvenile and, while he does look notably smaller than his fellow three-year-olds, he has shown enough on his two starts this season to show he still has bundles of ability. His defeats this season have come against front-runners and a more prominent ride this time should see him return to winning ways.
