On raw ability alone Battaash edges it but he’s twice acted up and been beaten at Ascot whereas Blue Point is three from four at the course and beat Battaash in this race last season. Both have had good preps and are difficult to separate. On proper, fast ground last year’s Coventry third Sergei Prokofiev could shake things up. I wouldn’t judge him on his fourth in the Palace House, he was held up in last and it was loose on top which put him in a bit of a wheelspin as he was asked quicken.
