Round three between Paisley Park and Thyme Hill, the score currently 1-1. Thyme Hill won at Newbury receiving weight; that was reversed at Ascot when Paisley Park got up close home. Not much will split them again but Paisley Park is favoured to regain his Stayers’ Hurdle crown. The greater emphasis on stamina plays more to his strengths. Don’t discount the Irish, though. Sire Du Berlais has a superb course record, winning the last two Pertemps Finals.
