Champagne Platinum has always promised plenty but has yet to turn up on the big stage. However, everything appears to be in place here. His second in a qualifier at Haydock was hugely promising and should have put him spot on for this. Lightly raced, he was punted off the boards for the Kim Muir last season, but his jumping always held him back and he has a huge chance off a mark of 139. Connections of The Bosses Oscar might have to claim for him to score off 151 and Imperial Alcazar is next best.
