Amoola Gold’s Ascot form could not read better. He beat the now 154-rated Ibello off the same mark of 138 in October before going down a neck to subsequent Clarence House winner First Flow. He then found Sky Pirate too good at Warwick, but he is 6lb better off with that rival here – and 8lb better off with Ibello. Embittered was third in the County Hurdle last season and has a big chance again and the same applies to Beat The Judge.
