Embittered is an unexposed novice chaser who looks set to pounce in a handicap. He has been tried in Graded company for most of the season and hasn’t disgraced himself. Third in last year’s County Hurdle, he brings course form to the table and it would be a surprise if he’s not ahead of the handicapper. Entoucas has been knocking on the door and granted a clear round, he should go close. Or Jaune De Somoza wants better ground but he could be interesting if sneaking in at the foot of the weights.
