There was talk of Easysland being a potential Gold Cup contender after landing this race last year and he can prove his class again in the Cross Country Chase. He was giving plenty of weight away when fourth in a handicap chase around this unique course in November and will strip much fitter for that return – as has been the case in previous seasons where his RPR has increased notably from first to second start. It’s surprising he is not closer to evens.
