The three Grade 1 novice chases all look to have exceptional horses at the head of their markets. I imagine there will be plenty of ante-post trebles and Shishkin can land the first leg. Last year’s Supreme winner will probably come off the bridle earlier than ideal, so that’s an in-running punting angle. Energumene is a worthy opponent and looks top notch; he’s booked for a gallant second. Captain Guinness needs to bounce back from a recent fall but has the ability to make the frame.
