Trac taken to make his mark at Catterick

TRAC has run well at Catterick the last twice and he can return to winning ways for Micky Hammond at the North Yorkshire venue on Friday.

He has posted a win then a solid second, and there should still be some mileage in his handicap mark. SMART BOYO is shaping as though a win is imminent, having finished runner-up on his last three starts, and the Phil Kirbytrained five-year-old can go one better at Southwell on Thursday.

Lucinda Russell’s NETYWELL can go in at Ayr on Wednesday. The sixyear-old got back on track with a course-and-distance win and should have more to offer now things have clicked again.

CASTLE RUSHEN caught the eye with his stayingon second over 2m4f at Newcastle and can go one better for Nicky Richards when back up to 2m7½f at the same venue on Tuesday.
