One trainer who might be about to hit form is Henry Oliver and he has two entries that catch the eye notably STRIKING OUT (3.03), who nearly pulled off a victory at Ludlow last time despite a sloppy round of jumping.

He is only up 2lb for that effort and is a course winner.

Oliver’s PATIENT OWNER (2.03) will at least prefer going this way round, but he’ll also need to improve his jumping a bit in the 3m1f handicap chase. He wasn’t far off recording a maiden success at Uttoxeter last time, which was a personal best on Racing Post Ratings.
