Paul Nicholls’ gelding scored emphatically in his sole Irish point and was equally impressive when making his bumper debut at Exeter on New Year’s Day, as he sauntered 24 lengths clear without coming out of second gear.
HEAVEN SMART (1.10) was only beaten a neck in a Lingfield maiden hurdle last time out. Gary Moore’s gelding looks capable of better now that he moves into a handicap for the first time.
