Goals continue to flow for Stenny

Stenhousemuir continue to be the both-teamsto-score kings, with no league side in England or Scotland putting up bigger numbers – and it doesn’t seem to matter who Stenny are playing, writes Henry Hardwicke.

Both sides have found the net in 86 per cent of Stenny’s Scottish League Two matches this term while 81 per cent have featured at least three goals,

Stenny beat Formartine United 3-1 in the Scottish Cup before both teams once again found the net when the Warriors were beaten 3-1 by Premiership side Livingston in the next round of the cup. They host League Two table-toppers Dumbarton on Saturday.

Aberdeen are putting up the highest over 2.5 goals figure in the Scottish Premiership outside the Old Firm, and there have been 13 strikes in the

Dons’ last three league matches.

Aberdeen host St Mirren in the Granite City this weekend and it’s an interesting fixture for goals bettors.

The Dons will be under new management after Jim Goodwin’s sacking and key defender Liam Scales is suspended for the Dons.

Over 2.5 is an 11-10 shot this weekend while both teams to score can be backed at 10-11.
