South coast rumble to see goals at both ends

A goal from former Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder Alexis Sanchez was not enough to give Marseille a win over Monaco on Saturday and the 1-1 draw brought an end to OM’s six-match winning run in Ligue 1.

They should still be confident of getting back to winning ways against Nice, as they look to boost their claims for Champions League qualification, but Marseille have kept just two league clean sheets at the Stade Velodrome this season.

They haven’t always had things their own way and their opponents on Sunday are capable of finding the net, so backing both teams to find the net looks the way to go.

Nice beat Lille on Sunday and face a tough trip to Lens on Tuesday, but their goalless draw at Reims on January 15 was only the second time they’ve failed to notch on the road this season.

Both teams had scored in six of Nice’s seven away matches prior to that and that pattern may continue.
