Charlie Hills looks to have found a good slot for Tommy De Vito to strike in the Betway Handicap at Newcastle on Friday.

The lightly raced four-year-old was second on his debut over course and distance before winning under those conditions, while Hills has a fine record at the track.

Tommy De Vito then had two starts on turf last year, but was off until a pleasing comeback at Kempton in October when he was a ready winner.

He can defy a 4lb rise and is entitled to improve.
