HAAFAPIECE (2.12) seems to thrive at Wetherby having recorded three of his top five Racing Post Ratings there, including a victory at the course last time. That was a good race for the grade with the field well stretched out. He’ll be dropping back in trip here, but the forecast rain will help with that, and a 5lb rise is fair.

The opener can go to BARONY LEGENDS (11.52). Olly Murphy’s five-year-old won easily at Lingfield on his hurdles debut, and I don’t think he’ll have any issues with this longer trip. [JH]
