National Trial can go to improving Run To Milan

RUN TO MILAN (1.57) can add a second chase success in the Welsh Grand National Trial.

His first victory was an easy 12-length win at Exeter in March and he wasn’t far off that level when reappearing at the same venue recently, as he still had every chance until blundering at the last.

Paul Nicholls has a couple of likely contenders in that contest but his best chance of a winner on this card is GRANGE ROAD (12.12).

He overcame a lengthy lay-off at Hexham in May and was only narrowly denied in a race that didn’t play to his strengths at Exeter last time out. [SR]
