Dortmund can finally get the better of Bayern
Bayern Munich have won each of their last six meetings with rivals Borussia Dortmund but the Black & Yellows could buck that trend in this weekend’s highlyanticipated Der Klassiker encounter.
Only one point separates Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich and second-placed Borussia Dortmund and spectators are in for a treat when they lock horns at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday evening.
At first glance, punters may think Dortmund should be opposed given they have fallen to defeats in key matches with Ajax, Leipzig and Sporting Lisbon recently but it is worth noting they were competing without star player Erling Haaland for those contests.
But the Norwegian is back and marked his return with a goal in the 3-1 win over Wolfsburg last time out.
When up against Ballon d’Or candidate Robert Lewandowski, it’s crucial Dortmund have star quality of their own in the final third.
They have also won all seven of their home league fixtures this term and are worth chancing at the prices in front of their own fans in the biggest game of their season so far.
