Les Bleus may flex attacking muscles
Euro 2020 Hungary v France
It was more through bad luck than anything else that France had only the one goal to show for their efforts against Germany, but expect more ruthlessness against Hungary today, writes Steve Davies.
France were excellent value for their 1-0 win over the Germans, secured through a Mats Hummels’ own goal. They had two goals disallowed, hit the post, and you felt as though they could flick a switch whenever they wanted.
It will be a different game against Hungary, who are happier playing without the ball. Their stubborn tactics worked for 83 minutes against Portugal before they conceded three late goals, which leaves them in a bit of a quandary over how to approach a match they cannot afford to lose.

Euro 2020 Portugal v Germany
You can have all the stats, form and analysis you like, but sometimes you only need to look at a price to believe it’s wrong, writes Steve Davies.
And Germany being 0.150.35 favourites over Portugal is one of those occasions.
The fact the match takes place in Munich has to be factored in. But Germany’s game against France was also staged at the Allianz Arena and Jogi Low’s men were utterly played off the park.
France might just be a cut above everyone else in this tournament and Germany could come on for the run. But results haven’t been good over the last few months and the Portuguese, the defending champions lest we forget, boast a truly sumptuous squad with a fantastic front four to die for if they can click.

Rugby union Exeter v Sale
The early signs were that we were going to be in for a wet weekend for the Premiership semi-finals, but although the forecast has improved we may see a stark change from the kind of summer rugby the last few weeks have served up, writes Graham Woods.
Sale went to Exeter last week and were on the scoresheet within a minute. But they were seeking a bonus-point win whereas today the target is just to win any way they can.
It looks set to be a cagey start with plenty of tactical kicking, especially from Sale who know they must keep the hosts at arm’s length.
Sale went in 0-0 at the break in their home clash with leaders Bristol and would be happy with a repeat of that, so a buy of the first try time could prove profitable.
